The trailer for "WRONG TURN 9" (2025) opens with an unsettling calm, showing a lone car winding its way through a remote forest on a narrow, twisting road. As dusk settles in, shadows lengthen across the pavement, creating an eerie atmosphere. The radio sputters with static before a chilling announcement warns of unexplained disappearances in the region, hinting that danger lurks for anyone who strays too far from the main road.
As the music grows more sinister, the scene shifts to the car’s interior, where a group of friends is laughing, blissfully unaware of the threat ahead. The mood quickly shifts when they realize they’ve made a wrong turn, steering them into an uncharted section of the dense forest. The road deteriorates, leading them deeper until they stumble upon a deserted, decaying settlement hidden in the wilderness.
The trailer intensifies, flashing through rapid scenes of the group investigating the eerie structures. Tension escalates as they uncover disturbing evidence of recent activity—crude traps, grotesque bone-and-flesh totems, and the grim remains of those who had come before them but didn’t make it out alive.
